About Our Center

A sanctuary in the heart of New York City.

Founded by world-renowned yogi and Universal Kabbalah Master, Joseph Michael Levry (known by his spiritual name, Gurunam), this center was created to inspire enlightenment of its students through the practice of self-healing. Yoga in New York City is very diverse. At Universal Force Healing Center, you will find a community where you may pursue many paths of learning, from Naam Yoga, Kripalu, Asana, Perfect Balance, and Community Classes to classes and workshops on the Divine Spiritual Wisdom Studies Program (Universal Kabbalah) to our outstanding Naam Yoga Therapies Training Programs and Harmonyum Trainings, to free community pot lucks, as well as many other special events and workshops.

Our non-profit organization is dedicated to teaching the fundamental principles of how to heal yourself. Now more than ever, it is vital to understand that all true, complete healing must emanate from within, through our spiritual practices and how we act in the world. Even if our physical health is perfect, there are always areas in our lives that we believe could be improved, from our relationships to our finances to our general state of happiness. We are here to be a catalyst for you by providing classes, teachers and healers which will encourage you to flourish and thrive.

We also offer many forms of massage and energetic bodywork in our tranquil Healing Room. Our skilled, compassionate staff is expert in practices that include Swedish, Thai and Shiatsu massage, as well as lymphatic drainage. Other diverse treatments include Reiki, Reflexology and Harmonyum, an energetic healing system developed by Joseph Michael Levry, Gurunam.
