UNDERSTANDING THE PLANETS, UNDERSTANDING YOU

a 9 week series - Tuesdays, May 25 - July 6, 2004

Since the beginning of time the planets have served to guide, inspire and show the directions of the forces of the Universe.  The Planets give mastery over the physical and astral planes, and give total control over emotions, your karma, and your destiny.  It is the science the controls and generates the Zodiac.  In fact each of us is born on a specific day, ruled by a planet.  The energetic blueprint of our ruling planet gives you your potential strengths and weakness.  Knowing your ruling planet and the ruling planet of your friends and loved ones is like having a roadmap explaining your Karmic History.  The illumination of self-knowledge will give you the fire to dispel the darkness from your life.

Each Planet has certain Characteristics, both positive or negative, that can be amplified or neutralized according to how you eat, what you wear, what day of the week it is... ie. how you think, feel and act.  Learn how precious stones, foods and sounds can be used as a tool to bring out the positive aspects of your planet.

This class will explore the understanding of how the planets rule over time.  The Year, the Day The hour, and how you can use this knowledge to bring success in any endeavor.  As we know, Timing is Everything... but there are some times when you are forced to act, but don't want to.  Learn the intricacies of Timing so that the outcome you desire is assured

the sun

The Sun is the center of our Universe.  It is the fountain of light, the visible representation of God.  People born on Sunday are extroverted, outgoing, confident, but need to watch out for the shadow side:  Ego, Lack of Planning and more.  To learn more about the sun, and how it works as a primary planet, please attend our class, Thursday, Feb 19 at 7:30-8:45pm.

The Moon is crucial to life on earth.  It represents the "Mother" principle, through which we understand that no life can exist without coming to the earth through a mother.  The moon rules over water,  imagination, intuition, but the shadow side is fluctuation, laziness, procrastination and much more.  To learn more about the Moon, and how it works as a primary planet, please attend our class, Thursday, Feb 26 at 7:30-8:45pm.
 

Mars

VERY BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT MARS
Mars is one of the most exciting planets.  Mars is the planet of Geburah:  Power.  For most people they take it on as being bad, or challenging.  The truth of the matter is that Mars just means force.  Power isn't bad, it simply needs to be managed.  The secret to power is learning the discretion not to use it.  We don't give children Guns..most children aren't neutral enough to use it.  By the same token, Mars is a force that when not controlled will run rampant, but when properly used can challenge the very will of god.  Most people born on tuesdays are excellent teachers because they have to learn the hard way.    To learn more about Mars, and how it works  please attend our class, Thursday, March 4 at 7:30-8:45pm.

Mercury

Mercury is a very small planet that rules communication.  Fast and agile it represent strength of mind, mental agility, communication, eloquence, and is a great planet for dealing with editors and information of all kinds.  On the negative side, Mercury can be very mental.  Mercury people need to learn to relax and not worry.  Like the element, mercury can have trouble staying together because it races in so many directions at once.  To learn more about Mercury, and how it works  please attend our class, Thursday, March 11 at 7:30-8:45pm

Jupiter

Jupiter is the Lord of Material and Spiritual abundance.  It is no accident that Jupiter is the largest of all of the planets.  People born under Jupiter are confident and outgoing and successful.  The shadow side of upiter is  insecurity, doubt, and as expected when dealing with expansion of all types...relationships to food.To learn more about Jupiter, and how it works  please attend our class, Thursday, March 18 at 7:30-8:45pm.

VERY BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT VENUS
Venus is a relatively small planet that takes about 200 days to circle the sun.  Known for the brightness of it's clouds, Venus is the brightest planet in the evening sky.  Like the planet, People born under Venus are often concerned with the surface layer.  They are fantastic decorators, stylists, artists and performers.  However, because Venus rules over love of all types, it is understood that at the highest level of Venus is the spiritual ideal of union with the Divine.
