Ram Rattan Kaur
A Native Texan, Ram Rattan was called to New York
City in 1997 to attend NYU's Tisch School of the Arts
drama program and it was
there that she was
introduced to yoga for the
first time. During her four
years study at NYU she
practiced and taught Hatha
and Vinyasa Yoga. Inspired
to continue and deepen her
practice she found the
Integral Yoga Institute. Her
Hatha class is strongly
influenced by the Integral
style and as always
listening to the breath. She
began working at an
alternative fitness center
in Chelsea in 2001. It was
there that Ram Rattan met
Alyssa Gaustaud, who
finallly opened the doors of
Kundalini Yoga and Kabbalah.
A major life transformation
occurred.
In 2002, she went to
Thailand to study Thai
massage and teach Kundalini
Yoga. She attended Summer
Solstice in New Mexico and
took the Master's Touch
Teacher's Training Program
with Yogi Bhajan. She feels
blessed to teach with
amazing teachers and at an
incredible center.
Many Thanks to Joseph
Michael Levry, Gurunam, for
all the love, the teachings
and support.
